Finding & Living "Your" Truth

IF YOU WANT THE TRUTH, I'LL TELL YOU THE TRUTH. LISTEN TO THE SECRET SOUND, THE REAL SOUND, WHICH IS INSIDE YOU.

- KABIR -

If you fulfill the pattern that is peculiar to yourself, you have loved yourself, you have accumulated and have abundance; you bestow virtue then because you have luster.” — C.G. Jung, Nietzsche’s Zarathustra: Notes of the Seminar given in 1934–1939. Two Volumes (Jung Seminars Book 99)

Jung’s idea of abundance is finally having your shit together. It’s the results you get when you stop torturing yourself into places that don’t fit. But it doesn’t come from adding more. It comes from aligning. When you live against your nature, you waste and lose energy faster than you think.

When you live with it, energy accumulates for your use at the right time. For the right things. Think of people you know who feel at peace with themselves. They don’t preach or force virtue. They don’t even try to inspire. But somehow, being around them changes you.

You become good by becoming whole. When you’re not starving for validation, you’re naturally generous. When you’re not at war with yourself, you don’t need to dominate others. When you’re living your pattern, you stop wearing masks. Your abundance is hiding in all the places you avoid because you think they are just “peculiar” to you. Or doesn’t matter. You can stop the energy drain. On yourself. On others, if you paid attention to your pattern, not the one you think you should have.

“The shoe that fits one person pinches another; there is no recipe for living that suits all cases. Each of us carries his own life-form — an indeterminable form which cannot be superseded by any other.” — Jung

“If something burns your soul with purpose and desire, it’s your duty to be reduced to ashes by it. Any other form of existence will be yet another dull book in the library of life.”― Charles Bukowski

My question then to you is: where do you feel most yourself, and are you spending more time there? Where are you forcing growth? What drains you, but you keep tolerating? If you start fulfilling the pattern peculiar to you, abundance will follow. Something overflows. You become whole by returning to yourself. When you honour your peculiar patterns, confidence grows. Doing your best, hard things become natural.

Abundance ensures.

I alway try to remnember
this wisdom by Jung:

"Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes"
