**Déjà Vu, Synchronicity & Resonance Through a Sufi Lens**

Sufi metaphysics frames all three phenomena through the silencing of the ego (nafs) and the awakening of the heart (qalb). When the ego's chatter stills, the heart perceives a timeless reality the ego cannot access — what Sufis call being ibn al-waqt, the child of the moment.

Déjà vu is understood as the soul briefly remembering its pre-existence — specifically the primordial covenant of Alast, when all souls affirmed God before entering physical life.

Synchronicities are divine signs (ayat), the Universe's language guiding the seeker toward deeper truth, leaving breadcrumbs that only a quieted ego can notice.

Resonance traces back to the original creative command — "Kun" (Be) — whose vibration continues to pulse through all existence. Practices like Sama (sacred listening) and the whirling of dervishes are designed to bring the heart into harmony with that original frequency, dissolving the ego's false, time-bound narrative.

Together, they point to a single Sufi truth: the ego constructs an illusion of separation and linear time, while the awakened heart recognizes that Divine unity is the only reality — ever-present, endlessly resonant, and speaking in every moment.
