The concept of the Ethereal Path,
as described in the Purana, represents a metaphorical journey that the king’s soul undertakes. This path signifies a spiritual odyssey through various realms, highlighting the soul's transition and experiences beyond the physical world. It emphasizes the idea of a transcendent journey that connects the material and spiritual dimensions, reflecting deeper themes of existence and the afterlife within the context of spiritual beliefs.
The Glimpse
The “Hour of Power” is a concept I heard from Vincent Tolman, in which you dedicate thirty minutes after waking and thirty minutes before sleep to focusing on virtue and the good. This hour determines the qualities of your thoughts, and how you feel throughout each day.
On Thoughts
Geronda: Why do I have various bad thoughts now that I am in the monastery? When I was in the world, this did not happen. Am I the one permitting them?
St. Paisios: No, my blessed child. Let them come, but let them also go away. Do the airplanes ask for your permission when they fly over the monastery and ruin your peace and quiet? It’s the same with these thoughts. Do not lose hope.
The psychological rule says that when an inner situation is not made conscious, it happens outside, as fate. That is to say, when the individual remains undivided and does not become conscious of his inner opposite, the world must perforce act out the conflict and be torn into opposing halves.

The Hidden Power in Your Struggles
Leonardo da Vinci was born an illegitimate child, denied formal education.
Nikola Tesla spent much of his life in poverty and isolation.
Carl Jung battled deep inner turmoil that shaped his life’s work.
Viktor Frankl survived concentration camps, losing his family, enduring unimaginable suffering — yet he emerged with a philosophy that has helped millions find meaning in their pain
Jung thought fear points the way. Where your fear is, there is your task. It feels counterintuitive, but it’s true. Think of fear as a teacher. It points out what you need to learn. It pushes you to your limits. It forces growth.
Fear isn’t here to stop you.
Fear is here to transform you.

comprehends the Holy Qur'an on a different level of tandem with the depth of his understanding. There are four levels of insight. The first level is the outer meaning and it is the one that the majority of the people are content with. Next is the Batin the inner level. Third, there is the inner of the inner. And the fourth level is so deep it cannot be put into words and is therefore bound to remain
indescribable.
